She walks around to impress. She will wear short skirts and skimpy shirts. She spends an hour on her makeup, just to put a face on, that’s anything but hers. She walks around thinking “everyone is looking at me” or “everyone doesn’t like how I look.” So you know what she does? She goes for the first hot guy she comes in contact with. She thinks it’s love. She likes how he holds her and how he touches her. She thinks it’s love. She’s captivated by the fact that he gives her attention. She thinks it’s love. He takes advantage of her. She thinks he loves her. He abuses her. She thinks he loves her. He leaves her. She’s heartbroken and alone. She’s searching. She can’t find it. She searches for someone who will make her whole. She can’t find it. She’s looking in the wrong places. She can’t find it. She wants to be whole, but she doesn’t know how to fill the empty hole. She then turns to drugs and alcohol to numb the pain. But that doesn’t last. She begins to find the wrong guys. But they never last. She begins to cry. She begins to cut herself and thinks about ending her life. But then there’s a voice. The voice says, “don’t do this to your self anymore. I love you more than you know and won’t ever leave you.” She begins to cry harder. The voice says “if you come to me, let me bring you everlasting love and comfort. Let me restore and take away all the chains. Let me help you and show you your value.”
Ladies, don’t put your worth in the hands of anything that’s from this earth, but put it in God. For God is the only one who can ever make you truly whole. No matter what you have done and no matter what you have been through, God is still calling your name. He’s calling you home. He’s calling you his.
